Agent as a Service

AI agents that see tasks through.

Agents handle complete workflows — from an incoming ticket to the finished, sent reply. They plan the necessary steps themselves, call the right tools, and check the result before the task is closed.

Animated demo: an AI agent independently handles a customer ticket — it checks the order, retrieves the shipping status, and sends the finished reply.

Distinction

What is an AI agent?

Three stages of automation — and why the third stage covers more ground than a chatbot or a workflow.

Chatbot

Answers questions in a chat window. Helpful for FAQs, but it makes no decisions and triggers no further steps on its own.

Workflow

Follows a fixed, predefined sequence. Reliable for standard cases — but stuck as soon as a step deviates from the intended path.

AI Agent

Plans the necessary steps itself, calls the right tools and systems, and checks the result before it closes the task.

The service

Four building blocks, one service

Agent as a Service covers the full lifecycle — from the first idea to ongoing, controlled operations.

Agent development

We design and build the agent for your process — from task planning to handling edge cases and errors.

Tool & MCP integration

The agent gets controlled access to your systems via APIs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — ERP, CRM, email, internal applications.

Maintenance & operations

We operate the agent, monitor its behavior in daily use, and maintain the underlying models through updates.

Governance & control

Human-in-the-loop approvals for critical steps, a complete audit log, and documentation for EU AI Act compliance.

Where agents are already at work

Six use cases from the mid-market — your process is probably among them.

Ticket handling

The agent reads incoming support requests, checks order and customer data in the ERP, and resolves standard cases on its own.

Order capture

Orders arriving by email, PDF, or form are captured, verified, and entered directly into the ERP — the agent asks back when something is unclear.

Research & quote preparation

For incoming inquiries, the agent researches product data and pricing and prepares a draft quote for approval.

Invoice discrepancies

When an invoice and a purchase order don’t match, the agent identifies the cause and proposes a resolution instead of leaving the case unresolved.

Report generation

Recurring reports are compiled from multiple source systems, checked for plausibility, and sent out on schedule.

Master data maintenance

The agent detects outdated or conflicting master data in your systems and updates it according to defined rules.

How it works

How your agent works

The agent connects your existing systems to a result that can be processed further right away.

How to start

From analysis to a production agent

  1. 01

    Analysis

We identify the process with the biggest leverage and clarify which systems and data the agent needs.

  2. 02

    Agent design

We define which steps the agent handles autonomously and where a human approval step stays in place.

  3. 03

    Implementation & tool integration

The agent is built and connected to your systems — including testing against real cases from your operations.

  4. 04

    Operations

The agent goes live, is monitored, and is continuously improved based on real-world results.

Frequently asked questions about Agent as a Service

Answers to the most important questions about autonomous AI agents.

How is this different from classic automation?

Classic automation follows a fixed sequence: if a case doesn’t match exactly, it either stops or produces a wrong result. An AI agent plans its own path to a solution, chooses the right tools, and reacts to deviations — covering cases that previously had to be handled manually.

Why a setup price plus a monthly operations fee?

The setup covers design, development, and integration with your systems — a one-time investment. Monthly operations cover monitoring, model maintenance, and improvement, because an agent that isn’t watched will drift away from its original accuracy over time.

Which systems can be connected, and what is MCP?

The agent connects to your systems via APIs or the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an open standard that lets AI models access external tools and data in a controlled way. This lets us connect ERP, CRM, email inboxes, and internal applications without building every connection from scratch.

How do you prevent the agent from making mistakes?

Critical steps go through a human-in-the-loop approval before they take effect. Every agent runs through a test suite with real cases before go-live, and in operation an audit log records every decision in a traceable way.

What about GDPR and the EU AI Act?

Agents run either on your own infrastructure or on GDPR-compliant infrastructure in the EU. Since autonomous agents can fall under the EU AI Act, we document risk classification, control mechanisms, and decision logic from day one.

How long until the agent is in production?

Depending on complexity, an agent is in production after 4–8 weeks — from the initial analysis to the first case it handles independently in live operation.

How is this different from the AI subscription?

The AI subscription continuously builds new automations for individual processes — mostly rule-based, with a fixed sequence. Agent as a Service delivers autonomous agents for tasks that require independent decisions and tool use. Many customers combine both: the subscription for breadth, agents for the complex cases.
